Natural Coir Bio-Matrix | High-Density Coconut Fiber Terrarium Liner
100% Organic fiber logic. Moisture-absorbent architecture. The definitive hardware for sustainable substrate management and joint protection in reptile habitats.
The Natural Coir Bio-Matrix is a high-performance terrarium liner engineered from compressed coconut brown fibers.Designed as a sterile and sustainable alternative to loose substrates, this "Reptile Carpet" provides a stable, high-friction surface that prevents accidental ingestion and promotes natural claw wear.
Its breathable, absorbent structure manages internal humidity while providing a soft, protective buffer for the ventral scales of tortoises, snakes, and lizards.
Key Technical Benefits
Anti-Ingestion Safety Logic: Unlike loose sand or bark, this fiber mat eliminates the risk of impaction caused by the accidental ingestion of substrate during feeding. This makes it a critical safety component for juvenile reptiles and aggressive eaters.
Hydro-Absorbent Atmospheric Control: The natural coconut fibers excel at retaining moisture and slowly releasing it into the air, assisting in the maintenance of stable humidity levels within tropical and temperate enclosures.
Ergonomic Joint Support: The textured, fibrous surface provides superior traction, preventing "Splayed Leg" syndrome in growing reptiles and offering a comfortable, naturalistic flooring for heavy-bodied tortoises and monitors.
Biologically Inert & Eco-Friendly: Crafted from sustainable coconut husks, the material is naturally resistant to rapid decay and provides a sterile, non-toxic environment that is easy to manage and replace.
Customizable Installation Logic: The fiber matrix is easy to trim, allowing for surgical precision when fitting the liner into specialized tank dimensions or around landscaping ornaments like pyramids and hiding caves.
Hardware Specifications

Core Material: 100% Natural Coconut Brown Fiber (Coir).
Color Stability: Natural Organic Brown.
Classification: Sustainable Substrate Replacement.
Application: Tortoises, Lizards, Snakes, Chameleons, and Bearded Dragons.

Deployment & Maintenance Notes
Pre-Deployment Protocol: Rinse the liner with clean water and allow it to dry before installation to remove any loose surface fibers.
Hygiene Schedule: Periodically remove the mat to shake out debris. For deep cleaning, rinse with a pet-safe solution and air dry completely. It is recommended to have two mats for a "rotation" system during maintenance cycles.
Thermal Interface: This fiber matrix works efficiently with under-tank heating pads, providing a safe buffer that prevents direct contact burns while allowing heat to radiate through the fibers.
